So please look at my work when it comes out. Unless you're one of those anime lovers that won't look at my work anymore because I'm not into that anymore. I just happen to realize that I grow more as an artist by doing THIS style.
Oh and btw...that's NOT meant to be rude. I just noticed how I have over 50 watchers and not ONE will comment on my work anymore. Am I getting worse as an artist? I don't think so. Not complaining, I just don't see the logic in that.

I'm trying new materials like watercolor pencils, pastels, etc. I know paint isn't truely new to me, but let's face it--my old paintings sucked. I'm trying to redeem myself in the painting world. I'm currently looking for a set of quality markers...like copic or prismacolor.

Heeeey everyone. I haven't posted anything in a LONG time.

Well I came back for the first time in at least two months, and whattaya know? 15 favs from people I don't even know! I love you all--it made my day.

My life has been fairly eventful-- moshed at a Christian concert, went down a seven story slide, and had a goat attempt to eat my hair 3 times. That's the most vague description I can come up with at the moment. If you're intrested in hearing more, just ask.

Oh how I have dreamed of this day! Never again will I go back to 4 digets!

But wow...this year has gone by extremely fast, but real slow-like at the same time. Does that make sense? Like I can't wait until I graduate and go off to San Diego, but at the same time I don't wanna leave. SO MUCH has changed this year. I was thinking about homecoming ealier this year, and it seems like it was at least five years ago. Maybe I'm the one who changed. (Oh no...getting all philisopical...) I mean I was freakishly shy, and kind of a dork. I still am a dork, but in a very different way. And this may not seem like a big deal, but I look REALLY different. My school ID picture from this year was taken last year. Sometimes I let people see it and they act all shocked being like "WHOA! That's you? I mean it looks more like it could have been a sister of yours or something."

So there's my boring lil update. I had just noticed that I hadn't updated my journal in a half a year, and figured I should probably write something.

So I was getting close to the 8000 line...and I was considering having an award for the person who gives me the 8000 hit. But nooo. The next time I logged in there was over 8100 pageviews. And I can't help but wonder...WHAT HAPPENED? I mean it in a good way though.

Still I'm sorry I haven't had time to comment on everything lately. I still have a lot to update. For some reason I've been constantly using charcol. I'll try and go back to my prismas...

Oh...and I LOVE PRIMUS!!!! WIERDEST (but in a good way) BAND EVA!!

You also oughta be proud of me. I managed to watch an episode of The Office, two episdoes of Scrubs, and two minutes of South Park (I got sick of it, then decided I was back in my "TV is a waste of life" phase).

It's on Shoreline, my most faved piece ever. I think it's funny because I'm kinda a greenhorn photographer (this is mainly because I don't spend extra time taking pictures or trying to improve them. I take them if I think it looks cool or some other talented photographer inspires me.)
